The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II Switch XCI – The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II for Nintendo Switch is a direct sequel to the first game in its latest arc. Known in Japan as Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN-, the game continues the story of protagonist Van Arkride and his solutions agency, Spriggan, in the Republic of Calvard. Following the events of the first game, a mysterious incident in the capital once again draws them into a conflict involving various factions, from crime syndicates to government intelligence. The game offers a rich and immersive narrative, a hallmark of the Trails series.
The gameplay of Trails through Daybreak II is a refinement of its predecessor’s innovative hybrid battle system. Combat seamlessly switches between real-time action on the field and a more strategic turn-based command system.
