Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Switch NSP – Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter for Nintendo Switch is a classic JRPG and the first entry in the epic Trails series. The game takes players into the story of Estelle and Joshua Bright, two members of a paramilitary organization called the Bracer Guild. They embark on a simple adventure and gradually uncover a massive political conspiracy that threatens peace across the continent. The game is renowned for its deep narrative and meticulously detailed world-building, providing a solid foundation for the entire Legend of Heroes series.

The core gameplay of Trails in the Sky is its strategic, turn-based combat. Battles take place on a gridded terrain, where players must position their characters and use various Arts (magic) and Crafts (special abilities) to defeat enemies. A standout feature is the Orbment system, which allows players to customize their characters’ magic and stats with various Quartzes, providing incredible depth of customization. In addition to the main quest, the game world is filled with numerous sidequests and NPCs with unique stories, making the game world feel alive and authentic.
