THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2: Remake NSP – THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2: Remake for Nintendo Switch is a highly anticipated revival of the classic arcade rail-shooter. Developed by MegaPixel Studio and published by Forever Entertainment, the game brings back the nostalgia of battling hordes of undead creatures. Players return to a disaster-stricken city, taking on the role of AMS agent James Taylor or Gary Stewart to uncover the mastermind behind the horrific outbreak. The remake promises a faithful experience to the 1998 original, but with significant modern touches, from updated graphics to new features tailored for modern consoles.

The core gameplay of THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2: Remake adheres to the beloved rail-shooter formula. Players automatically move along a predetermined path, while their primary task is to shoot down every monster that appears. The game also offers a co-op mode for playing with friends, delivering intense arcade-style fun. In addition to the main campaign mode, the game features several additional features, such as a “Training Mode” for accuracy training and a “Boss Mode” for testing your skills against iconic bosses. The controls are customizable, with the option to use either analog sticks or gyro controls, although some players noted that the gyro controls require further calibration for an optimal gaming experience.
